Over the past 12 years, the University of Akureyri has had a distance learning group in Nursing, located in Ísafjordur. Now the third group is going to graduate next spring.

Great interest is in the continuation of distance learning in Nursing in Ísafjörður. The Univeristy of Akureyri has agreed to go ahead with a new group next autumn if we can show them that we have the required number of applicants. The demand is at least 10 students will apply for them to start a distance learning group in Ísafjörður. Already 7 people have contacted the University Centre and expressed interest, but we need more.
