Economic and Social valuation of protected areas by various stakeholder groups

This Friday August 14 GAIA the student association for of the master's program in Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Iceland will be hosting a seminar "Economic and Social valuation of protected areas by various stakeholder groups" at the University Centre. The seminar is a part of the students associations visit to the University Centre of the Westfjords.

The seminar is open to all interested in the subject. Below is preliminary schedule.


12:00 - 13:00 Presentation about the seminar and introduction of participants
13:00 - 13:20 Time for individual get together and break
13:20 - 14:50 Open discussion about individuals vision and value
14:50 - 15:00 short brake
15:00 - 16:00 Open discussion about collaborative vision and values
16:00 - 16:10 short brake
16:10 - 17:00 wrap up of seminar and official end of seminar
