International Coastal Cleanup Day

Ægir student association is planning a cleanup of the coastline around Ísafjörður on this occation from 10am to 2pm tomorrow.

September 25 is the International Coastal Cleanup Day. Ægir student association is planning a cleanup of the coastline around Ísafjörður on this occation from 10am to 2pm that day. It will include a beach clean up on foot, divers and snorkellers in the water and plenty of kayaks to get around. The local rescue squad is joining in as well as Sæfari kayak club and Borea Adventures. Full details on the Ocean Conservancy website.

The group is meeting in the town square, Silfurtorg at 10am. Everybody is welcome.
