This week two elective courses began in the Coastal and Marine Management masters program at the University Centre. The courses are taught by Dr. Selina Heppell and Dr. Scott Heppell, faculty members at the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife at Oregon State University, USA. Selina supervises the course Conservation of Biodiversity in the Sea and Scott supervises the course Evaluating Sustainable Fisheries.

This is the second last three-week cycle of the program, apart from one extra course on tourism policy and planning that will be offered between June 13 and July 1.

Our community

It's hard to imagine an environment better suited to preparing students for the challenges of a career in natural resource management."

Alan Deverell, Great Britain, CMM student 2009-2010
