Last year’s grant recipients with Shiran Þórisson from the Westfjords Growth Agreement and Dagný Arnarsdóttir the Academic Director for the CMM masters program.
The Westfjords Growth Agreement announces an application deadline for its student research grants. The grants are awarded to final projects that aim at results regarding specific research, innovation and development for a firm, industry or the whole economy of the Westfjords. The projects should be specifically regarding the development of the region's economy and society. Cooperation with local companies is especially encouraged.

The application deadline is May 1.

All further information about the research grants, rules and application procedures, are available on the Westfjords Growth Agreement webpage.

Our community

It's hard to imagine an environment better suited to preparing students for the challenges of a career in natural resource management."

Alan Deverell, Great Britain, CMM student 2009-2010
