Jeppe Aagaard Andersen has worked both as a landscape architect and a free artist. The office follows a classical approach towards completely free interpretations of space form, nature and culture, often on a very large scale.
The proposal for the clearing around Kronborg Castle is an example of work on this scale, carried out with a high degree of knowledge about the past and a visionary feeling of what will be appreciated by posterity. His first work was a proposal for conversion of the harbour area in front of the Royal Palaces, Amalienborg in Copenhagen. Jeppe Aagaard Andersen very quickly gained a good reputation among architects and participated in many large and important projects, such as large airport Hurum in Norway. The seminar and conference centre SAS Radison, Denmark and Cathedral square in Lund, Sweden.
For the new court house in Holstebro, Denmark, symbol values, shape and material have been used in a whole new way. Aagaard Andersen has also contributed to the creation of the large-scale surroundings for the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Denmark. All his work illustrates his fine sense of space and shape, sense of nature and interaction.
